"Mission"
The Analytical Core Facility provides service and expertise in protein chemistry, molecular biology, and biophysical techniques in support of the scientific projects of the Portland Research Unit. Analyses are conducted to characterize molecular components of musculo-skeletal tissues directly, or to produce tools for further studies. The information generated by this core facility is used to better understand normal development and the pathogenesis of skeletal diseases.
